Unalterable in time the stainless steel 18/10, ensures the maximum hygiene and safety in contact with food, it guarantees excellent performances and durability and it mantains its brightness in time; high thickness pure aluminum, in the shell of the bottom, optimizes the heat distribution and obtain the best performance in energy consumption.
The stainless steel 18/10 BIOINOX used to produce this pot is totally recyclable. It has an average content of 60% of recycled material and its production requires less energy consumption compared to other metals.
At the end of its “life cycle” it is completely recycled, it produces no waste, and its scraps do not pollute neither the air nor the soil, or the groundwater. Its re-use, allows a considerable saving of raw materials.

Triple thermo - diffuser bottom made of two stainless steel layers (one of which for induction) and a third inner layer made of aluminum.
When the right cooking pressure is reached, it raises with a whistle to let out the steam in excess. Then, after the flame has been correctly lowered, it will blows only slightly from time to time. At the end of cooking, raising it and rotating it counterclockwise, it will remain locked at the top to allow the release of steam and reduce the pressure inside. After the use, the valve must be put back in the starting position.
It raises up to enter the slot of the handle when the pressure inside the pot reaches the cooking level, until that time some steam comes out. It will remain raised, preventing the lid from opening, until the pressure has dropped completely.
It looks like a black rubber. Before useing the pressure cooker you should check that the safety valve is properly seated on the lid so as to completely close the hole in which it is seated as indicated in the video below.
Only in case of malfunctioning of the functioning weight valve, the rubber washer moves upwards dropping out the steam in excess. If this occurs it is necessary to accurately check the weight valve, that could be occluded by remaining food, and contact our customer service.
It shows the highest filling level, including the cooking liquid and the food.
CAUTION When you cook any food that is bound to increase its volume or creates scum during the cooking, or with leaves like rice, dried legumes, spinach, salad, etc., the highest filling level must be half of what the marking level shows.
